DINNER AT THE GOVERNMENT HOUSE IN HONOUR OF H.E MILES KUPA, HIGH COMMISSIONER OF AUSTRALIA TO MALAYSIA

H.E Alex Chernov, the Governor of the State of Victoria hosted a dinner yesterday night (2/4/2012) at his official residence in Melbourne. The dinner was in honour of H.E Miles Kupa, High Commissioner of Australia to Malaysia and his wife Ms Zuly Chudori.

 

H.E Miles Kupa is in Victoria for a three-day visit, and will be speaking on the Malaysia Australia Free Trade Agreement (MAFTA) at the AMBC talk this coming Wednesday (4/4/2012). 

 

Other than Consul General Dr Rameez, other guests invited for the dinner were Hon Nicholas Kotsiras (Minister for Multicultural Affairs & Citizenship), Mr.Jeffrey Browne (Sullivan &Cromwell), Mr William Fisher (State Director of DFAT), Mr Tom Harley (Managing Director for Dragoman), Professor Stephanie Fahey (Deputy VC for Monash University), Professor Tim Lindsey (Director for Melbourne Law School), Mrs Kate Hastings (Executive Director for the Department of Business and Innovation Victoria), Dr Barbara Cargill (Dean for Trinity College), Philip Knight (Principal Fellow for Asia Institute, Melbourne University), and Mr Charles Curwen (Official Secretary to the Governor).
