UMNO Cup is an annual soccer tournament organized by KUAM. The tournament’s history dated back to ten years ago when it was first held and has now become a tradition among the local Malaysians in Australia. Every year, soccer teams from both local and inter-state teams participated in the tournament in the run to lift the cup trophy that has been passed on to the champion from year to year. The tournament provides Malaysians in Victoria the opportunity to participate in a proper soccer tournament together with rules and regulations at a world class location. It also provides a medium for students to spend their time during Easter holidays while helping to promote national unity by permitting athletes from various regions and universities within Victoria to gather. Furthermore, by participating in the tournament, as players or as supporters, it encourages individuals to be actively involved in healthy activities while socializing and meeting with Malaysians from various regions in Australia.
