Officials from MARA are currently in Melbourne, Australia and are undertaking a two-day working visit in Melbourne from 20-22 May 2014. The purpose of MARA’s two- day working visit to Melbourne is to inspect its student accommodation properties at 746 Swanston (not far from Melbourne University), and at Dudley International House Caulfield (not far from Monash University), both properties were bought at a total price of AUD60 million.
Apart from visiting its two recently bought properties, the MARA officials headed by its Chairman Tan Sri Annuar Hj Musa also met with MARA’s sponsored students in Melbourne yesterday .Currently there are 309 MARA Sponsored Students studying in Melbourne. Officials from MARA comprising among others Datuk Mohammad Lan Allani (Chairman MARA Inc), Dato Abd Halim A Rahim (CEO MARA Inc), Dato Dr Yusof, Mr Khairul Aziz, Mr Zainal Zol, and Ms Sharifah Deena also met with CG Melbourne yesterday night. They will also be given a briefing on the property market in Australia at a luncheon meeting today (Wednesday, 21/5/2014) at the Colliers International HQ at Collins Street.
