A Malaysian Welcoming BBQ meant especially for Malaysians just starting/pursuing their studies in Melbourne during this new semester was held at the Treasury Gardens, Spring Street, East Melbourne last Saturday (8/3/2014). The event co-hosted by Kelab Umno Melbourne, Badan EHSAN and MASCA-Victoria saw the attendance of more than 250 people including families. The event which commenced at 1 pm ended by 4 pm and saw among others the Teh Tarik Competition. KUDOS to all Malaysians who were involved in making this BBQ event a success, especially in ensuring Malaysians get together before they start their studies in Melbourne. During the event, the Consul General had asked all the guests to pray for the wellbeing of passengers in MAS Flight MH370.
