Dubbed the biggest Malaysian sports event in Victoria, Malaysian Games aims to provide opportunities for Malaysian students to get involved in the community and to enrich their University lives. The Games are held annually to select the best athletes to represent Victoria in MASCA’s annual National Conference and Games (NCG) that will be held this year in Gold Coast, Queensland (7-12 July 2012).
The Malaysian Games while promoting a healthy lifestyle is also meant to foster closer relationships among Malaysian students. Consul General Dr Rameez, Miss Malaysia 2012 Kimberley Leggett and National Track Cyclist Josiah Ng were among the special guests whom attended the 2012 Malaysian Game which was held at the Melbourne University Sport Centre. Games held during the 2-day event (31 March till 1 April 2012) were Futsal, Volleyball, Table Tennis (Ping Pong), Badminton, Frisbee, Squash, Tennis and Netball.
