Puan Munirah Husain (Director MARA Australia/New Zealand), and two officers from Jabatan Orang Asli Malaysia made a call on Dr Rameez, Consul General Malaysia this morning at his office. During the said meeting, Encik Zainal and Puan Norliza informed the Consul General that there are currently 6 orang asli students being sponsored to undertake their undergraduate studies in Australia. Two are studying at Melbourne, two at the South Australia University in Adelaide and one currently undertaking first year study in commerce at the Tasmania University. They also requested the Consul General to give the necessary assistance to their students. Dr Rameez also requested their kind favour in informing their students to register at the Consulate General so that in time of need, assistance can be provided.
