Consul General Dr Mohamad Rameez Yahaya met with Ms Geraldine Kennett, the Executive Director of the Institute of Public Administration Australia (Victoria) today at the IPAA office located at Little Bourke Street, Melbourne CBD.
The Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) is the nationwide professional association for those involved in public administration. It has divisions in all states and territories and a national support office:- ACT Canberra, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia.
During the said meeting, two issues were raised:- i. Invitation for Tan Sri Mohd Sidek bin Haji Hassan (Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia) to speak at the IPAA 2012 International Public Administration Congress to be held at the Melbourne Convention Centre, Melbourne from 18-20 September 2012; and ii. Visit of INTAN senior officials to Melbourne in October 2012.
