The Melbourne Consular Corps Annual Dinner which saw more than 84 people in attendance was held on Tuesday, 6th March 2012 at the Melbourne Club, Collins Street, CBD Melbourne. The Governor of the State of Victoria H.E Alex Chernov was also in attendance together with his wife. The said dinner lasted for about 2 hours and saw career Consul General and Honorary Consuls engaging with each other. The dinner started with a toast to the Queen of Australia and ended via a speech by the Governor. The First Annual Consular Corps Dinner in the State of Victoria started in the year 1926.
