MH17 CONDOLENCE BOOK SIGNING AT THE VICTORIAN PARLIAMENT

The Premier of Victoria, Hon. Dr Denis Napthine on Monday (21/7/2014 at 2 pm) led Victorian Opposition Leader Daniel Andrews, Greens MP Greg Barber, Federal Speaker Bronwyn Bishop, Lord Mayor of Melbourne Robert Doyle and consular officials from countries affected by the disaster in signing the first of Victoria’s MH17 condolence books at Parliament House in Melbourne. The Victorian Condolence Books are made available for signing at Parliament House, Council Offices, Public Libraries and the Offices of Victorian MPs around Victoria. 

 

Among members of consular corps in Victoria that were invited to sign the Victorian Parliament House Condolence Book were Dr Rameez Yahaya (Malaysia), Mr Hans Nieuwland (Netherlands), Mr Ita Puspitasari (Indonesia), Mr Gareth Hoar (UK), Mr Michael Pearce (Germany), Mr Geoffrey Pollard (Belgium), Ms Virginia Kalong (Philippines), and Mr Denis Cliché (Canada).
