NEWS FROM THE OFFICE OF THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF MALAYSIA, MELBOURNE
The Office wishes to inform that application for the Certificate of Good Conduct via the Consulate General of Malaysia in Melbourne, Australia must be done through online, and requires the applicant (Malaysian) to attach together:
1) 2 copies of the application form (printed from www.kln.gov.my/web/guest/ekonsular)
2) 2 copies of the Malaysian Passport ( 2 copies of photo page and 2 copies of signature page)
3) 2 copies of the Malaysian Identity Card (IC) ( front and back)
4) 2 copies of Australian visa
5) 2 recent passport-sized photo
At the same time, the Office wishes to inform that the issuance of the letter of good conduct will take one (1) to two (2) months. Unlike before the Statutory Declaration is permitted, and it only takes a day or two (2) days to issue the Certificate of Good Conduct.
For Non-Malaysian, application for Certificate of Good Conduct requires:
1) 2 copies of the application form ( printed from www.kln.gov.my/web/guest/ekonsular )
2) 2 copies of Passport (All pages)
3) 2 copies of Australian visa
4) 2 recent passport-sized photo
5) Introductory letter from the employer/school/college/university.
The issuance of the letter of good conduct will take about one (1) to two (2) months.
Note that the processing fee for a letter of good conduct is AUD10.00. If payment made by other than cash like via money order, it must be made payable to ‘The Consulate General of Malaysia’.
