The Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Melbourne and the Australian Intercultural Society organised an Iftar Dinner yesterday night (8/8/2012) at the Brisbane Room, Sofitel CBD Melbourne. The event which symbolised the desire of the Islamic community in Australia to build bridges and respect across Australian diverse cultures, saw the attendance of Hon Premier Ted Baillieu. Almost 200 people including some members of the consular corps attended the event which ended at 8.00 pm.
