The Australian National Imams Council or ANIC was established in 2006 to unite the Imams all over Australia under one umbrella body to provide effective Moslem leadership in Australia. This year ANIC hosted the Eid Gathering at the Australian Health Foundation Centre, Tottenham, Melbourne on Sunday, 25/8/2013. The event was attended by more than 200 people including the Mufti of Australia, Dr Ibrahim Salem, Chin Tan from the Victoria Multicultural Commission and Dato Dr Rameez. The event commenced at 6.00 pm and ended at 9.00 pm.
