KAMPUNG FEST BY MISWA

In conjunction with the celebration of Malaysia Day 2017, the Malaysian Islamic Society of Western Australia (MISWA) had organised a special social gathering called Kampung Fest where various traditional games were offered to fellow Malaysians and the wider Malay community in Perth. The event was attended by close to 150 invitees.
It was a fun-filled morning where kids and adults indulged themselves in various traditional games such as baling selipar, congkak, tarik tali, lari dalam guni, to name a few while enjoying delicious Malaysian food prepared by MISWA and those present. It was indeed a meaningful way to celebrate Malaysia Day with fellow Malaysians in Perth! Many thanks to the generous sponsors and supporters - Consulate-General of Malaysia in Perth, Education Malaysia Australia, MASCA WA, WeMalaysia - for making the event a huge success.
