51st Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs, Vienna,10-14 March 2008

The Commission on Narcotic Drugs held its 51^st session in Vienna from 10 to 14 March 2008. The Commission was chaired by Ambassador Eugenio Maria Curia from Argentina and assisted by three (3) vice-chairpersons, Ambassador Omar Zniber (Morocco), Ambassador Shahbaz (Pakistan) and Ambassador Victor Postolachi (Moldova). The rapporteur was Ms. Nicola Rosenbum from Australia. Besides H.E Dato’ Mohd Arshad M. Hussain and an officer of the Embassy, Malaysia was also represented by Mr. Yaacob Samat, Undersecretary, National Anti Drugs Agency, Ministry of Internal Security as Head of Delegation and other delegates from Royal Malaysian Police and Ministry of Health at this Meeting.
