23 January 2026 - The Embassy of Malaysia in Vienna hosted a reception on the occasion of the art exhibition by “Ken Yang: The Five Seasons – Porcelain, Painting and Cycles of Time”, in conjunction with “Visit Malaysia 2026” at the Augarten Porcelain Manufactory, Vienna.
The reception brought together members of the diplomatic corps from over 18 countries, invited guests and representatives of the host institution, providing a platform to highlight Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage through integrating visual arts, traditional elements, food and tourism promotion.
In her remarks, Mrs. Nurhana Binti Muhammad Ikmal, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Embassy of Malaysia in Vienna, among others, underscored the role of cultural diplomacy in strengthening people-to-people ties and highlighted that the exhibition offers a poetic dialogue between painting and porcelain, representing an artistic journey shaped by the exploration across cultures and values that also lie at the heart of “Visit Malaysia 2026”.
Attendees also enjoyed a selection of Malaysian savouries, Malaysian traditional music and visual displays promoting “Visit Malaysia 2026”, which together provided a vibrant showcase of Malaysia’s creativity, culture and hospitality.
