ASEAN GOLF DAY in Vienna
The ASEAN Vienna Committee (AVC) organized an ASEAN Golf Day on 28 September 2014. The event was held at Golf Club Spillern and was coordinated by Malaysia. A total of 15 players took part in the golf including the ambassadors of Indonesia, Laos DPR, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Deputy Resident Representative of Singapore and joined by the Ambassador of Netherlands, a retired Austrian ambassador, the US and Australian embassies, CTBTO, CDW and from the private sector. The purpose of the event was to promote ASEAN in Austria. After the golf, all players were invited for lunch at the Club and following the lunch, there was prize giving for the winners and a lucky draw. The event was well attended by all the ASEAN embassies and complimented by good weather.
