Y.Bhg. Datin Izdina Izaidin, President of PERWAKILAN Vienna hosted a Farewell and Welcoming Reception for outgoing and incoming PERWAKILAN members at the Malaysian Residence on Friday, 7 January 2011.
PERWAKILAN Vienna bidded farewell to Dr. Noor Hasnah Khairullah, Science Attache at the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations, Vienna who ended her tour of duty after 5 years. Mrs. Mary Chua, PERWAKILAN Vienna's longstanding member was also bidded farewell to as she would be relocating to Bangkok, Thailand. PERWAKILAN Vienna also welcomed the latest addition to PERWAKILAN, Mrs. Zaleha Hashim who arrived on 3 January 2011. Among the guests that attended the reception included PERWAKILAN Vienna members as well as the Embassy's HBS and LRS staf. The event started with short opening remarks by Dato' Muhammad Shahrul Ikram Yaakob to welcome all the guests to the function. Datin Izdina Izaidin, President of PERWAKILAN Vienna presented Dr. Noor Hasnah and Mrs. Mary Chua with a token of rememberence, before further welcoming Mrs Zahela Hashim. |

A wide array of Malaysian and fusion cuisine such as Rice, Black Pepper Beef, Stir-fried vegetable, Sambal Udang, Satay and Peanut Sauce, Kuih Ketayap and Apom Balik were among the delicious food served to guests. |

All in all, PERWAKILAN Vienna members though sad to see Dr. Noor Hasnah and Mrs Mary Chua go, enjoyed the warm hospitality of Datin Izdina Izaidin, President of PErWAKILAN. All PERWAKILAN Vienna members wish Dr. Noor Hasnah and Mrs. Mary Chua all the best in their future undertakings and may our paths cross again in the future! |
