Skuad Harimau Muda (U-19), under the supervision of Head coach Ong Kim Swee, Assistant coach Hassan Sazali Mohd Waras and Goalkeeper coach Yong Wai Hwang, just finished their 3-month stints in the second-tier of the Slovakian National League (Division One) as part of their comprehensive training programme.
H.E. Dato’ Muhammad Shahrul Ikram Yaakob, Ambassador of Malaysia to Austria (concurrently accredited to Slovak Republic) made a trip to Zlaté Moravce, Slovak Republic on 9 October 2010 (Saturday) to watch the football match between Skuad Harimau Muda and Dolny Kubin. The game ended up with our team lost 0 - 1.
The squad also had a dinner hosted by H.E. Dato’ Muhammad Shahrul Ikram Yaakob on 30 October 2010 in Malaysian Residence, Vienna.
In addition to the league matches, Skuad Harimau Muda also had several friendly matches with teams from the neighbouring countries. On 14 November 2010 (Sunday), the team had a friendly match with the Saint Polten team from Austria. The game ended up with our team lost 4 -3.
Through out 12 league games, Skuad Harimau Muda recorded 3 wins, 3 draws, and 6 lost. The team departed for Kuala Lumpur on 20 November 2010.
