Skuad Harimau Muda (U-19), under the supervision of Head coach Ong Kim Swee, Assistant coach Hassan Sazali Mohd Waras and Goalkeeper coach Yong Wai Hwang, just finished their 3-month stints in the second-tier of the Slovakian National League (Division One) as part of their comprehensive training programme.
H.E. Dato’ Muhammad Shahrul Ikram Yaakob, Ambassador of Malaysia to Austria (concurrently accredited to Slovak Republic) made a trip to Zlaté Moravce, Slovak Republic (home ground for Skuad Harimau Muda) on 9 October 2010 (Saturday) to watch the football match between Skuad Harimau Muda and Dolny Kubin. The game ended up with our team lost 0 - 1.
On 30 October 2010 (Saturday), the squad had a dinner hosted by H.E. Dato’ Muhammad Shahrul Ikram Yaakob at the Malaysian Residence in Vienna, Austria.
In addition to the league matches, Skuad Harimau Muda also had several friendly matches with teams from the neighbouring countries such as Hungary and Austria. On 14 November 2010 (Sunday), the team had a friendly match with the Saint Polten team from Austria. The game ended up with our team lost 4 -3.
