DHAKA- ASEAN Heads of Mission and Charge d’ Affaires in Dhaka paid a Courtesy Call on the Honourable Speaker of the Bangladesh Parliament, Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury on 7 July 2013. The call was led by H.E. Haji Abdul Razak Mohd Hussaini, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam who is also the Dean of ASEAN Diplomatic Corps. Throughout the session, the ASEAN representatives discussed various issues ranging from trade and investment opportunities between Bangladesh and the ASEAN countries, Bangladesh and ASEAN bilateral relations, Bangladesh Parliament etc. Currently eight ASEAN Missions comprises Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam is operating in Dhaka excluding Laos and Cambodia.
