BANGLADESH MONITOR AWARD OF THE YEAR 2012

DHAKA- Kuala Lumpur has been awarded as the most popular destination in 2012 by the frequent flyers from Bangladesh during the occasion of Bangladesh Monitor Airline of the Year 2012 Award held on 6 July 2013. The event was jointly organised by the Bangladesh Monitor, a leading travel publication of the country in collaboration with the Westin Dhaka and Eastern Bank Ltd Bangladesh. The award was presented by the Chief Guest, H.E. M Faruk Khan, Honourable Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism Bangladesh to Mr. Borhan Uddin Ahmed, Tourism Malaysia’s Representative in Dhaka.  Almost 2,200 frequent flyers expressed their views on their favourite airlines and holiday destinations via online which then evaluated by the Jury Board comprises professionals from the corporate sector, media, businessmen and travel agencies in Bangladesh. The purpose of this annual award is to evaluate airline service standards as well as to create a healthy competition among the airlines to improve customer value.
