High Commission of Malaysia in Dhaka in collaboration with the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Alumni in Bangladesh hosted an Iftar reception and presented Eid donations to 120 orphans from Sabuj Kanon Orphanage in Old Dhaka. The programme that took place on Saturday, 11 July 2015 was also participated by the High Commission’s officials and staffs. Mr. Abdul Kalam, Vice President of the Orphanage Committee, senior committee members of the orphanage and President of MTCP Alumni in Bangladesh, Mr. Md. Ali Akber received H.E. Madam Norlin Othman, High Commissioner of Malaysia and later proceed to the orphanage house for the distribution of iftar food, Eid clothing and cash contribution (duit raya) to the children.
