DHAKA- Malaysian Government contributed USD 211,857 to the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), a subsidiary organ of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The assistance was provided as the mandatory contribution of Malaysian Government, a Member States of the OIC to the budget of IUT for the year 2013.
Her Excellency Madam Norlin binti Othman, High Commissioner of Malaysia to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh handed over the cheque to Professor Dr. M. Imtiaz Hossain, Vice Chancellor of IUT at the Malaysian High Commission on 20 May 2013.
The Vice Chancellor took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the Government of Malaysia for its continuous assistance and contribution to the overall progress of the university in developing the human resources of OIC Member States in the area of science and technology.
