Her Excellency Haznah Md Hashim, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh handed over a cheque for the financial year 2022 to Professor Dr. M. Rafiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University of Technology (IUT) during her visit to IUT in Gazipur on 1 July 2022, as Malaysia’s mandatory contribution to the budget of IUT for 2022.
This reflects Malaysia's commitment as a responsible member of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and as a sign of continous support to IUT as the subsidiary organ of OIC.
During the visit, Her Excellency also presented a certificate of participation to the participants who completed the Waste-to-Energy Technologies for Sustainable Municipal Solid Waste Management course held by IUT.
