MTCP Alumni Get-together and Dinner

DHAKA - MTCP Alumni Get-together & Dinner was held at the Official Residence of the High Commissioner of Malaysia on 23 December 2009. The simple yet meaningful gathering was well attended by around 35 MTCP Alumni members, mainly senior officials from different department and agencies of Bangladesh Government.

H.E. Jamaluddin Sabeh in his speech briefed on the development taking place in Malaysia as well as the vast opportunities and rapid development in Bangladesh. He also informed that from year 2010, MTCP Secretariat will be stationed in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia to effectively coordinate the MTCP programme.

The members also discussed many bilateral issues of the two countries and shared their valuable experience of the training period in Malaysia. All participants praised the Malaysian Government for their development in different sectors. They also expressed their gratitude to the Malaysian Government for giving them the opportunities of training in Malaysia.

Fellow MTCP Alumni members were later served sumptuous Malaysian cuisine specially prepared by Madam Norsiah, wife of the High Commissioner for the event.
