Opening Ceremony of
Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Branch Office in Sylhet, Bangladesh
SYLHET - Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Bangladesh opened their branch office in Sylhet (approx. 190km from the capital city of Dhaka) on 5 May 2011. Sylhet is the third most important city in Bangladesh after Dhaka and Chittagong.
H.E. Jamaluddin Sabeh, the High Commissioner of Malaysia for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Mr. Azahar Hamid, Regional Senior Vice President for South Asia, MAS inaugurated the new branch office aimed at serving MAS customers from Sylhet and in the North-eastern region of Bangladesh better.
Also present were Mr. S.K. Farid Manik, GSA of MAS Bangladesh, Mr. Wan Ebrahem, Area Manager (Bangladesh, Nepal & Bhutan), MAS; and Mr. Khandker Shiper Ahmed, Owner of Shiper Air Service, Bangladesh.
