PRESENTATION CREDENTIAL OF H.E. MADAM NORLIN BINTI OTHMAN AS HIGH COMMISSIONER OF MALAYSIA TO THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF BANGLADESH, 27 AUGUST 2012
Her Excellency Madam Norlin binti Othman, High Commissioner of Malaysia to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, presented her credentials to the Honourable President Md. Zillur Rahman, President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, on Monday, 27 August 2012. The ceremony was held at the ‘Bangabhaban’ Presidential Palace where Madam Norlin was accompanied by her spouse, Mr. Zakaria Hj. Idris and Mr. Ahmad Fikri bin Zakian, Second Secretary of the High Commission of Malaysia in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Prior to her appointment as the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh, Madam Norlin binti Othman was the Consul General of Malaysia to Medan, Indonesia. She also served as Deputy High Commissioner of Malaysia in New Delhi as well as Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Malaysia to the United Nations in New York.
Madam Norlin binti Othman succeeds His Excellency Dato’ Jamaluddin bin Sabeh as the new High Commissioner of Malaysia to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
