DHAKA- The High Commission of Malaysia in collaboration with the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam organized a reception on 27 August 2012 in honour of H.E. Madam Norlin binti Othman, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh and H.E. Nguyen Quang Thac, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Bangladesh. The reception was the first ever event jointly organized by the two ASEAN Missions in Bangladesh, a reflection of true solidarity and partnership between the two countries. Prior to the reception, H.E. Madam Norlin binti Othman and H.E. Ambassador of Vietnam presented their Credentials to the Honourable Md. Zillur Rahman, President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh at the Bangabhaban Presidential Palace.
