Her Excellency Haznah Md Hashim was the Special Guest at Robi Axiata's Datathon 2.0 Closing Ceremony in Dhaka on 17 August 2022. Honourable Mustafa Jabbar, Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Bangladesh graced the event as the Chief Guest, along with Honourable Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury, MP, Deputy Minister of Education, Bangladesh as Special Guest.
In her speech, Her Excellency emphasised that the subsidiaries of Malaysian Government-Linked Companies (GLC) in Bangladesh, particularly Robi Axiata and Edotco, are becoming such an important tool towards enhancing the bilateral trade and investment relations between Malaysia and Bangladesh, among others, by creating a significant employment opportunities. Her Excellency therefore reiterated her request for the assistance from the Government of Bangladesh, for the sustainability of Malaysian investors, particularly Robi Axiata and Edotco, for the sake of maintaining a strong bilateral trade and investment relations between the two brotherly nations.
