DHAKA- YABhg. Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia and spouse, YABhg. Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah was invited to attend the 2nd Convocation of the University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS) held in Dhaka on 15 March 2014. Chancellor of the UITS and the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Md. Abdul Hamid conferred the degrees to the graduates while YABhg. Tun Dr. Mahathir was present as the Convocation Speaker during the occasion. YABhg. Tun visited Dhaka from 15-16 March 2014 which was his third visit to Bangladesh after 1999 and 2004.
