His Excellency Shazryll Zahiran meeting with the Malaysian delegation to the Annual Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions AAOIFI 21st Annual Shari’ah Boards Conference.
H.E. Shazryll met with the delegation to the AAOIFI led by Prof Ashraf Md. Hashim, Chairman Shari’ah Advisory Council (SAC) Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and Member of the Shari’ah Standard Committee AAOIFI. The Bank Negara Malaysia delegation is also joined by Sohibus Samahah Dato Setia Prof. Madya Dr. Hj. Anhar bin Hj. Opir, Mufti Selangor in his capacity as the Member of SAC BNM.
The Embassy looks forward to meeting the delegation again in next year’s AAOIFI meeting and commended the active role by Malaysia through our Islamic finance experts in AAOIFI.
