The first ever Malaysian Film Festival was organized from 29-31 May 2024 at the Auditorium Room, Bahrain National Museum as part of the commemoration to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Malaysia and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Our appreciation to the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) team, led by H.E. Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdulla al Khalifa, President of BACA for their support in making the historical event a success. More meaningful for the Embassy was its collaboration with the Alia Autism Rehabilitation Center under the auspice of H.E. Dr. Shaikha Rania bint Ali Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Society for Children and Behavioural and Communication Difficulties, that had given Malaysia the opportunity in creating awareness and understanding in facilitating the life of these set of special inidviduals.
The three movies featured were "Guang", "Ola Bola" and "Boboiboy The Movie 2". We register our thanks to Filem Nasional (FINAS) for providing us the films.
