Tuan Mohd. Ariff bin Baharom, the newly appointed Under-Secretary for Land Border Management, National Security Council (MKN), Prime Minister’s Office made a courtesy call on Mr. Mohd. Aini Atan, Consul General of Malaysia (CGM) in Songkhla on 2 February 2012. He was accompanied by 7 other officials during the visit, including the Head of Malaysian Thailand Border Committee Organization (MTBCO) Lt. Col. Mohd. Nazaruddin Mohd Nazir. The objective of the visit was to maintain the already excellent relations between the MKN and CGM in Songkhla as well as changing experience and on-the-ground knowledge pertaining to issues on Southern Thailand.
