The Embassy of Malaysia, in cooperation with the Embassies of Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Muslim Aid Sarajevo organized a ?Small Taste of Orient? Food and Fashion Show on 30 October 2009. It was held in Dom Mladih hall, Sarajevo. Some 340 guests attended the event. The event was part of the Embassy?s Outreach Programmes for this year. The Embassy of Malaysia together with the other Embassies presented a collection of traditional and modern costumes as well as a variety of national cuisines for the event. Malaysia presented a collection of traditional wedding costumes-Malay, Chinese, Indian, Orang Ulu (Sarawak) and Kadazan Dusun (Sabah). It was preceded by a short show of Malaysian traditional dances by a ?Children of Malaysia?. The show ended with the draws for the Raffle tickets. Grand Prizes included 2 return economy class tickets by Malaysia Airlines for the sector Frankfurt-Kuala Lumpur, 2 return economy class tickets by Turkish Airlines for the sector Sarajevo-Istanbul-Singapore and 2 return economy class tickets by Bosnian Airlines for the sector to be decided by the eventual winner. Other prizes included a laptop, jewellery, cinema tickets, theatre tickets etc. Proceeds from the event would go towards the setting up of a Mobile Library and IT Centre for the remote population in Eastern BH. A generous spread of Malaysia?s delicacies such as nasi minyak, chicken curry, satay, fried mee hoon, kuih ketayap and curry puff was prepared by the Ladies Association of the Embassy of Malaysia (PERWAKILAN). Ambasada Malezije u saradnji sa ambasadama Egipta,Irana, Saudijske Arabije,Pakistana i Muslim Aid Sarajevo organizirala je 30. oktobra 2009. modnu reviju ? Ukusi orijenta? uz degustaciju hrane. Modna revija odr?ana je u u Domu mladih Sarajevo sa oko 340 gostiju . Ova manifestacija je dio ambasadinog humanitarnog programa.
Zajedno sa ostalim abasadama, Malezija je prezentirala kolekciju narodne no?nje i moderne odje?e kao i raznovrsnu nacionalnu kuhinju. Malezija se predstavila sa kolekcijom malajske, indijske ,kineske,Orag Ulu( Sarawak) i Kadazan Dusun (Sabah) tradicionalne odje?e za vjen?anja.Neposredno prije revije ?Djeca Malezije? izvela su malezijske tradicionalne plesove.
Na kraju manifestacije odr?ala se i tombola sa izvla?enjem sretnih dobitnika. Najvrednije nagrade bile su dvije povratne karte Frankfurt- Kuala lumpur od Malaysian Airlines zatim dvije povratne karte Sarajevo-Istanbul ?Singapore od Turkish Airlines i dvije povratne karte od BH Airlines za destinaciju koju bi odabrao eventualni dobitnik nagrade. Ostale nagrade bile su laptop ,nakit,karte za kino,karte za pozori?te itd. Prilozi sakupljeni od karata za ovu manifestaciju namijenjeni su osnivanju pokretne biblioteke i IT Centra za udaljeno stanovi?tvo Isto?ne Bosne.
Udru?enje ?ena ambasade Malezije (PERWAKILAN) pripremilo je za ovu manifestaciju raznovrsne malezijske specijalitete kao ?to su nasi minyak, chicken curry, satey, fried mee hoon,kuih ketayap i curry puff. Ambasada Malezije zahvaljuje svim sponzorima i u?esnicima ovog programa koji su doprinijeli njegovom uspjehu.
