Passport Renewal

APLICATION FOR A NEW / RENEWAL OF MALAYSIA PASSPORT

 

Applicants of a new Malaysian passport need to be present at the Embassy with the following documents:

 

  1. 1 copy of Passport Application Form (IM.42-Pin.1/97) per applicant (available at www.imi.gov.my or at the consular counter);

(Note: Please print it in one page for both sides)

 

  1. Malaysian International Passport (original, 2 photocopies of the main page and a valid residence permit);

 

  1. Birth Certificate (original and 2 photocopies) - for Malaysians under the age of 12 or without MyKid;

 

  1. Mykad (original and 2 photocopies);

 

  1. 2 passport photos (coloured photograph with white background, dimension 3.5 cm x 5.0 cm).

Important Notice: Please visit the www.jimlondon.net to view the required photo specifications;

 

  1. Malaysian marriage certificate (if applicable);

 

  1. Fee: BAM85.00 (adult) and BAM45.00 (children under 12 years old and senior citizens above 60 years old) for a 50 page-passport with validity of 5 years (payment in cash only);

 

  1. A copy of a valid residence permit in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

Please note that all payments are to be borne by the applicant including postage charges. Application, including postage, will take at least 4 weeks. Applicants are required to be present at the Embassy to pick up the new passport.
