Ambassador Datuk Anuar Kasman paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Mr. Barisa Colak, the new Speaker of the House of Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 11 April 2017. Mr. Loh Seck Tiong, Minister Counselor of the Embassy was also present at the meeting.
The meeting was centred on the official by the President of the House of Peoples to Malaysia at the invitation of his counterpart the Honorable Dato’ Sri SA. Vigneswaran, Senate President of Parliament Malaysia. The visit which was scheduled in April has been postponed to a later date.
The two officials also acknowledged the close relationship between the two countries and agreed that the visit will provide a good opportunity for parliamentarians of both countries to further strengthen their bond of friendship that will contribute further to the overall state of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Ambassador Datuk Anuar also took the opportunity to congratulate Mr. Barisa Colak for his appointment as Speaker of the House of Peoples recently.
