The School’s Director, Ms. Jasmina Husic together with her staff members were on hand to receive the visitors. The invitees were entertained with a cultural performance by the school’s pupils.
The Camil Sijaric School is locally known as the “Malaysia School” due to its association with Malaysia. The school building was rebuilt in 1997 from contributions made by teachers and students from all over Malaysia. The school was destroyed during the 1992-1995 war in the country.
It was named after Camil Sijaric, a well-known Bosnian poet who died in 1989.
