FLOOD DONATION TO HEALTH CENTRES IN MAGLAJ AND DOBOJ, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Tan Sri Vincent Tan handing over a mock  cheque amounting to Bosnian Mark 250,000 each (RM1.13 million) to Mayor Mehmed Mustabasic of Maglaj and Mayor Obren Petrovic of Doboj during the half-time football match in Sarajevo on 17 July 2014.  The donation was from the people of Malaysia, an initiative of the Sun newspaper and Mercy Malaysia- Malaysia-Bosnia Flood Disaster Relief Fund.  Maglaj and Doboj were the two regions badly affected during the massive flood in Bosnia Herzegovina in May 2014.   H.E Anuar Kasman,  Ambassador of Malaysia also attended the ceremony which was held at the Olympic Stadium in Sarajevo
