The meeting between H.E. Ambassador Zakri Jaafar and Mr. Amer Bukvic, Chief Executive of BBI took place on 13 July at the Embassy of Malaysia. During the meeting, Mr Bukvic briefed Ambassador Zakri on the upcoming Sarajevo Halal Fair 2018 to be held from 27 to 29 September at Skendirije Center under the patronage of H.E Bakir Izetbegovic, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting also discussed on cooperation and participation of the Embassy at the Fair given that Malaysia is among key player in the halal industry.
Sarajevo Halal Fair 2018 is a unique event to Southeast Europe focussing on creating business and networking platforms for halal producers, service-providers, distributors, suppliers and buyers from all over the world. The ultimate aim is to turn Sarajevo as the halal hub for the region.
