Mr. Husein Efendija Kavazovic, Mufti of Tuzla Canton paid a visit to the Embassy of Malaysia in Sarajevo on 30 May 2012. The purpose of the visit was to inform the Embassy about the role and activities of the Mufti Office in Tuzla Canton.
The Mufti was received by Mr. Hussain Abu Bakar, Charge d’ Affaires a.i. and Mr. Onn Mohamed, Second Secretary (Administration). Mr. Kavazovic was accompanied by two community leaders, Mr. Nahdet Sulejmen and Mr. Smail Ibrahimpasic.
Tuzla Canton is one of ten administrative centres in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated 120 km from Sarajevo.
