RECEPTION ON THE OCCASION OF THE BIRTHDAY OF
HIS MAJESTY THE YANG DIPERTUAN AGONG OF MALAYSIA
8 JUNE 2008
The Embassy of Malaysia Sarajevo hosted a reception on the occasion of the birthday of His Majesty the Yang DiPertuan Agong of Malaysia on 8 June 2008. The reception was held at Ambassador?s Residence at 4.00 pm. Some 50 guests attended the reception comprising Malaysians residing in BH, Malaysian businessmen as well as close friends of the Embassy. They are committee members International Islamic University of Malaysia (UIA) Alumni, members of the International Women?s Club Sarajevo (IWCS), local businessmen and media officials.
The reception started with singing of the National Anthem, Negara Ku and hoisting of Jalur Gemilang. H.E. Mr. Zulkifli Adnan, Ambassador of Malaysia graced the occasion with his remarks, highligting His Majesty's leadership qualities as a visionary Head of State. Ambassador went through the activities that took place since the beginning of this year with supports and assistance from Malaysian businessmen operating in BH, as well as support from the UIA Alumni, IWCS and 'friends of Malaysia'. Such activities include education, cultural, social, and trade and investment. The speech was followed by a doa selamat for the good health of His Majesty and prosperity of the country.
Guests were treated to a barbeque and a generous spread of Malaysian food and cuisine, such as fried rice, bee hoon, roasted beef and lamb, curry puffs as well as varieties of local foods particularly cevapi. The limited number of guests contributed the environment for good conversation and most of the guest stayed longer than three hours.

Ambasada Malezije u Sarajevu bila je doma?in prijema povodom ro?endana kralja Malezije, 8 juna 2008.godine. Prijem je odr?an u ambasadorovoj rezidenciji u 16.00 sati. Prijemu su prisustvovali Malezijci koji borave u BiH,malezijski biznismeni bliski prijatelji Malezije kao ?to su ?lanovi UIA Alumni, ?lanovi Me?unarodnog kluba ?ena(IWCS), lokalni biznismeni i predstavnici medija.
Prijem je zapo?eo sviranjem nacionalne himne,Negara Ku i podizanjem zastave(Jalur Gemilang).Nj.E. Zulkifli Adnan obratio se gostima prigodnim govorom u kojem je naglasio kvalitete Njegovog Veli?anstva kao vo?e i vizionarskog ?efa dr?ave.Ambasador je tako?er spomenuo aktivnosti koje su sprovedene u toku ove godine uz pomo? i podr?ku UIA Alumin ?lanova, IWCS i ?prijatelja Malezije?. Ove aktivnosti obuhvataju obrazovane,kulturne, dru?tvene i ekonomske investicije. Prije govora prou?ena je je dova za dobro zdravlje Njegovog Veli?anstva i prosperitet zemlje.
Gosti su po?a??eni raznolikom malezijskom hranom kao ?to je pr?ena ri?a, bee hoon, pe?ena govedina i janjetina, curry puffs kao i raznim lokalnim jelima ,osobito ?evapima. Gosti su u?ivali u dobroj atmosferi i ve?ina njih je ostala vi?e od tri sata.
