and members of PERWAKILAN Sarajevo visited the Sekolah Malaysia on 30 January 2008. The Director of the school, Mr. Faruk Jabucar briefed the delegation on the activities of the school.

Background

 

 

In 1996, the Ministry of Education Malaysia has undertaken a noble project by collecting donations from teachers and students all around Malaysia to help the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina after the war. The donation was channeled to the Camil Sijaric School Sarajevo for the reconstruction of school?s building and facilities. The school, named as Camil Sijaric, a great poet of Bosnia and Herzegovina born in 1913, is currently operating with 36 teachers and 675 students. The school is also known as Sekolah Malaysia in BH.

 

The school was officially reopened by YAB Dato? Sri Najib Tun Razak, the then Minister of Education Malaysia on 29 October 1997.

 

1996 godine Ministarstvo obrazovanja Malezije poduzelo je plemeniti projekat i sakupilo donaciju od malezijskih nastavnika i u?enika da bi pomogli ljudima u Bosni i Hercegovini.Donacija je proslije?ena ?koli ?amil Sijari? u Sarajevu za reconstrukciju ?kolske zgrade  i objekata. ?kola je nazvana po ?amilu Sijari?u, bosanskohercegova?kom velikom pjesniku  ro?enom 1913. Godine. ?kola trenutno ima 36 nastavnika i 675 studenata. ?kola je tako?er poznata i kao malezijska ?kola.

?kola je slu?beno otvorena od starne YAB Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak, tada?njeg Ministra obrazovanja Malezije 29 Octobra 1997.
