WORKING VISIT OF MALAYSIAN AMBASSADOR TO BOSNA PODRINJE CANTON, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

H.E. Anuar Kasman, Ambassador of Malaysia to Bosnia and Herzegovina paid a working visit to Bosna-Podrinje Canton on 20 June 2013.  During the visit, H.E. Anuar paid a courtesy call on the Honourable Mr. Emir Frasto, the Canton’s Premier.

 

The Premier gave an overview on the economic development of the region.  Both sides also discussed about various areas of economic cooperation in which Malaysian firms could participate in the near future.  These included the automotive industry, power generation, housing and general trading activities.

 

H.E. Anuar also took the opportunity to meet with Mr. Muhamed Ramovic, the Mayor of Gorazde and Mr. Hamed Efendic, the Mufti of Gorazde.  Gorazde is the Canton’s main town and situated about 55 km from Sarajevo.

 

The Malaysian Ambassador also visited Bekto Precisa, a local firm that produces components for the automotive industry.  Later he visited Unis Ginex, a company which manufactures percussions primers for small arms ammunition and chemicals for the defense industry.
