EARTHQUAKE IN CHRISTCHURCH, NEW ZEALAND

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to confirm that so far no Malaysians were involved in the earthquake that struck the city of Christchurch, New Zealand on Sunday, 14 February 2016.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the High Commission of Malaysia in Wellington will continue to monitor and provide information as and when available. Malaysians residing in New Zealand are advised to always communicate with the High Commission of Malaysia in Wellington and comply with all instructions and safety advices by New Zealand authorities.
