On 18 April 2018, His Excellency Mr. Do Ba Khoa, Ambassador of Vietnam to Brazil, chaired the 2nd Meeting of ASEAN Committee (ACB) in Brasilia at the Embassy of Social Republic of Vietnam, with attendance of Ambassadors, Chargé d’Affaires, and the ACB Working Group of 7 ASEAN member countries in Brasilia, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
After the Meeting, Ambassador of Vietnam also hosted a working lunch with His Excellency Mr. Henrique da Silveira Sardinha Pinto, Undersecretary General for Asia and Pacific, MFA Brazil; and His Excellency Mr. Roberto J.G. de Matos, President of APEX-Brasil. The Luncheon was also to welcome the new Ambassador of the Philippines, Her Excellency Marichu B. Mauro.
