On 24 January 2024, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam H.E. Raja Dato’ Reza Raja Zaib Shah attended the opening ceremony of the 28th Consumer Fair at the International Convention Centre in Bandar Seri Begawan.
The opening of the Consumer Fair was officiated by the Guest of Honour, Deputy Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Finance and Economy of Brunei, Mr Mohammad Harris bin Brigadier General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim together with Heads of Mission in Brunei including the Malaysian High Commissioner.
The 28th Consumer Fair with the theme ‘New Year, New Me’ boasts over 500 exhibitors. PERWAKILAN Bandar Seri Begawan also took the opportunity to put up a booth to promote Malaysian local products. On event day, Chair of PERWAKILAN Bandar Seri Begawan, YBhg. Datin Roslina Ismail was also invited as the Guest of Honour to launch a Malaysian product, the Chantiq Collections Tudung produced and marketed by ESD Sdn Bhd.
