H.E. Dato' Raja Reza on 19 January 2022 was invited as one of the speakers for the Executive Development Programme Middle Management Officers (EDPMMO). The specially designed programme for Brunei's government officials is conducted by University Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) at its campus.The 14 week programme is attended by 27 officers from various ministries and agencies.
In his presentation, H.E. Dato' Raja Reza shared his perspectives, experience and knowledge on the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic to diplomacy and the impact to multilateral system in safeguarding global peace and security. H.E. Dato' Raja also highlighted 'Appeal for a Global Ceasefire amid the COVID-19 Pandemic' , Malaysia's led initiative at the United Nations in 2020 during the pandemic, urging all parties to observe global ceasefire, stop hostilities and pursue peaceful settlement of conflicts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
