On 22 November 2022, H.E. Raja Dato' Reza hosted a working luncheon for the ASEAN Heads of Mission in Brunei Darussalam. Joining ASEAN High Commissioners/Ambassadors and Chargé d'affaires at the luncheon were Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Johariah Haji Abdul Wahab, Permanent Secretary (ASEAN) and Yang Mulia Pengiran Norhashimah Pengiran Mohd Hassan, Permanent Secretary (Bilateral Affairs) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
During the luncheon, they had a fruitful discussion on various matters pertaining to the interests of ASEAN Member States, including the outcome of the recently concluded 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and Related Summits in Phnom Penh under the Chairmanship of Cambodia. They also expressed their profound desire to coordinate and work closely on various issues of common concern, including organising joint activities in future as part of the efforts to promote ASEAN's awareness and visibility. H.E. Raja Dato' Reza underscored the need for ASEAN Heads of Mission to have greater interaction and regular engagement with the top management of MFA Brunei Darussalam.
