H.E Dato' Raja Reza, on 8 September 2022, paid a courtesy call on Honourable Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo Sokiaw, Deputy Minister (Energy), at the Prime Minister's Office. The Deputy Minister was accompanied by Mr. Mohd Zaki Hassanol, the Acting Director of the International Relations of the Energy Department.
During the one-hour meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the close working relations between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam, particularly in the field of petroleum and energy sector. To deepen the existing close bilateral cooperation, they also exchanged views and explored potential cooperation in other areas including in renewable energy, for the mutual benefit of the two neighbouring countries.
H.E Dato' Raja Reza also took the opportunity to extend Malaysia's utmost appreciation to the Deputy Minister for his unwavering support in facilitating Petronas's venture in the country.
