His Excellency Dato’ Raja Reza Raja Zaib Shah on 20 December 2021 paid a courtesy call on Honourable Dato Seri Setia Ir. Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Minister of Development, Brunei Darussalam at the latter’s office. Also present during the courtesy call was Honourable Dato Seri Paduka Ar. Awang Haji Marzuke, Deputy Minister of Development.
During the courtesy call, both parties had a fruitful discussion and exchanged views on an array of topics under the purview of the Ministry of Development, including the climate change policy, infrastructure development, town planning, environmental and waste management and national housing programme. The Minister also expressed satisfaction with the warm relations between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam and praised Malaysia in helping the Ministry to develop its human capital through the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP).
The courtesy call concluded with His Excellency Dato’ Raja Reza Raja Zaib Shah and the Minister reaffirming their commitment to forge closer working relations between the High Commission of Malaysia and the Ministry of Development for the benefit of the two friendly countries.
